About The Owner

I was born and raised in Durham, NC in the community of Pleasant Green. I graduated from NC State in 2000. I then moved out west and started working for a lawn care company that specialized in organic fertilization and organic weed control. After working for them for 4 years I moved back to Durham to start my own company. My intention was to provide customers with a fertilization/weed control program that used both organic and synthetic products. As I studied for my pesticide license and learned more about the threats they pose to people and the environment I started to second guess my decision to use synthetic pesticides. After thoroughly researching the topic I became more and more concerned. The current use and abuse of synthetic pesticides by the lawn care industry is alarming and in large unnecessary. I then decided I would not be part of this problem but rather part of the solution. (Please read "Poison in the grass")

So what is the solution? Organics. I decided I would only use products that were safe for people, their kids and pets, and the environment in which they live. Not only are my products and procedures safe they are effective and in many cases work better than synthetics.

How do I know? I practiced organic lawn care for 4 years and saw excellent results and more than satisfied customers.
